We have used Richards Dover Taxis for a long time, especially for Airport runs and going on Cruises. He is able to take all our luggage with ease and the ride is extremely comfortable, however far you are traveling. You also need someone who is one step in front of others and on the ball. We were traveling back from Cape Verde when the Covid-19 crises kicked in. We were sitting in our hotel with other guests waiting for our coach to the airport. After a couple of hours the TUI reps still hadn’t a clue what was going on, then my phone rang with a email from Richard. Message read :- You are flying back to STANSTEAD NOT GATWICK. Do not get on the coaches taking everyone too Gatwick. I will be waiting for you outside the main exit at Stansted Airport. When we arrived at Stansted at 05.00hrs in the morning, Richards Taxi was there and was the only vehicle outside, now that’s what you call a VIP Service. We were home and in bed before the other passengers arrive at Gatwick Airport.
Now that was a service I never expected and something Richard should be proud of, in looking after his customers. I wish him all the best over these difficult times and I will be using him again very soon I hope, as he also has all the necessary safety features to look after us during these difficult times.
